Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for QuickBooks Invoice Automation Service

Introduction 

This Acceptable Use Policy governs the use of the QuickBooks Invoice Automation Service (the “Service”) provided by Gold Tech (“Service Provider”). By accessing and using the Service, the client (“Client”) agrees to comply with this AUP and ensures that any party accessing the Service through the Client’s account will also comply with this AUP. 

General Use 

The Service is designed to automate the process of updating QuickBooks invoices with the correct tax rates upon their creation, functioning as an intelligent, background service without requiring direct interaction from the Client. The Client is responsible for ensuring that their use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and this AUP. 

Prohibited Use 

The Client shall not: 

  • Interfere with the Operation of the Service: Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service or the data contained therein. 
  • Bypass Security Measures: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service, through hacking, password mining, or any other means. 
  • Misuse of Service: Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal, beyond its intended use, or otherwise results in the misuse of the Service’s capabilities. 
  • Modification of Service: Modify, adapt, or hack the Service, or otherwise attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks. 
  • Malware: Transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware. 

Compliance and Security 

The Client is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their QuickBooks account and any access credentials related to the Service. The Client agrees to immediately notify the Service Provider of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security. 

Enforcement 

Violations of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of the Service, at the Service Provider’s discretion. The Service Provider reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who are involved in such violations. 

Modification of AUP 

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute the Client’s consent to such changes.
